Job description

Summary: We are looking for consultants and senior consultants who are specialised in the world of software testing and quality assurance to support the continued development of our Test & QA consulting practice. Our preference is for candidates who have a broad range of experience that covers not only the disciplines of software quality but the full IT delivery chain.

Language: English (fluent), French (fluency nice to have)

Education: University degree (Computer Science or equivalent)

Experience: Consultant 3yrs+, Senior consultant 5yrs+

Industries: Banking/Financial Services, Telecommunications

General Skills/Experience: IT Delivery Cycle (Releases, Projects, Lifecycl Changes), Test/Project Management in Cascade and Agile environments, Test Management Tools (e.g Quality Centre), Test automation strategies, CMMI, business driven/risk based testing.

Key activities

  • Consulting
    • You will work with clients to assess their test maturity and capabilities and identify areas for improvement that are aligned with the IT organisation and strategy. Your in-depth experience of the full IT delivery and value chain will enable you to determine the right improvements in the test approach, processes and tools. You will work with and support the clients in their efforts to implement these improvements and to manage organisational change.
  • Operational
    • You will work as a Test Manager on key client projects where you will be responsible for defining the test strategy and plan, acquiring and mobilising the test team, monitoring the preparation of test cases and data and coordinating the execution of all major test phases. You will use your project management/coordination skills to manage risk and conflict, to report accurately on status of all test phases and to participate in the key decisions on the project. You will be required, depending on the client and project context, to participate in the execution of test.
